Overview

CalmFlights is a flight anxiety companion app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

All data you enter in CalmFlights (saved flights, fear-type preferences, onboarding state, and usage counts) is stored only on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults and is never sent anywhere.

• Flight Buddy AI — when you send a question to the AI, the text of your message is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenAI to generate a reply. We do not store your questions or link them to your identity.
• Camera — used only to scan the barcode on your boarding pass. All image processing happens on-device using Apple's VisionKit. No images or boarding pass data are sent to our servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No name, email address, or contact information
• No location data
• No microphone access
• No analytics or crash reporting services
• No advertising identifiers
• No third-party tracking SDKs
• No user accounts — the app works without signing in

Subscriptions

CalmFlights offers optional in-app purchases managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Children's Privacy

CalmFlights does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no user accounts and no data collection of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
